The PWS20-L series from Watts presents a range of high-efficiency, conventional cation exchange water softeners suitable for both point-of-use and point-of-entry applications. Each unit boasts the advanced Watts LOCKSMITH control valve, a durable, corrosion-resistant brass valve that's highly configurable and easy to maintain. The system, operated by an electronic controller, keeps operational history and supports metered, demand-initiated regeneration, ensuring efficient use of water, salt, and time. With grain capacities ranging from 90,000 to 600,000 and mineral tank diameters from 14 to 36 inches, each system contains 3 to 20 cubic feet of high-capacity ion exchange resin. Flow rates span from 55 to 119 gallons per minute, and all models include NSF and ANSI certified components with standard 2" FNPT inlet/outlet and 1" to 1½" MNPT drain connections. These simplex systems effectively exchange scale-forming calcium and magnesium ions with non-scale-forming sodium ions, delivering consistent soft water performance across diverse applications.
